Principal’s Message

Welcome to St Joachim’s Catholic Primary School Lidcombe. As a school community, we embrace an interactive way of teaching and learning which extends through all aspects of school life. We encourage students to share in school leadership, shaping their learning and leading by example.

We welcome a strong partnership with parents, the parish and our community inspiring students to ensure Jesus is an intrinsic part of their world.

It is a great privilege to be the principal of this wonderful school and you are encouraged to browse our website to understand why St Joachim’s Lidcombe is such a positive and dynamic learning environment.

St Joachim's Catholic Primary School LidcombeThe Sisters of St Joseph founded the school in 1885 and remained active in the school until 1984. After that time the Sisters handed the principalship over to lay staff who have continued to uphold the traditions and spirit of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop and her Josephite Sisters.
