St Joachim's Catholic Primary School LidcombeThe Sisters of St Joseph founded the school in 1885 and remained active in the school until 1984. After that time the Sisters handed the principalship over to lay staff who have continued to uphold the traditions and spirit of Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop and her Josephite Sisters.

Our parish is very supportive of the school community and is actively involved in celebrating liturgical and other special events in the life of the school. Father Eduardo and Father Ruwan have a strong commitment towards the spiritual development of the students, staff and parents. The parish and school are committed to building strong relationships and developing a rich faith community. The sacramental programs are parish based.
